Welcome to St. Joseph's Academy Mothers' Club

Dear SJA Moms,
I am thrilled to serve each of you, our Angels and the entire St. Joe Community as Mothers’ Club President this year! I have worn many hats walking the halls of St. Joseph’s Academy, but my hands down favorite is as a member of the St. Joe Mothers’ Club. This membership has given me the honor and privilege of sharing this part of my daughters’ educational journeys with each of you. I treasure the many lessons I’ve learned, the opportunities I have been afforded to positively impact the SJA community, and the lifelong friendships I’ve made along the way.
I would encourage each of you to remember that the PRESENT is PRECIOUS. Our girls are only here for four short years. Waiting until tomorrow to attend a function or volunteer for a committee only shortens your time in the “Club.” You are here and because of that, we are better. You will likely never regret the things you do at SJA with and for each other, our Angels and our school community. However, you may very well regret not doing things when you had the chance.
I look forward to being PRESENT with each of you!
Karen Marquitz Squellati ‘84
Mothers’ Club President 2018-19

It is dedicated to helping parents with the challenges of raising Catholic teens in today’s world. Representatives from the schools meet monthly as the Parent Network Board to share ideas and strategies for better parenting. The Board plans events and prints material to support parents in their effort to deal with teen issues.
