Jessica Pappert ‘19, Kara Gregor ‘20, Katie Kostecki ‘20 and Olivia Stapf ’20 attended the Harvard Global Health Conference. Jessica created a community project about personal hygiene, which included a hygiene drive at school. She took time to research the issue, design an intervention, implement her ideas and evaluate her results. After witnessing her commitment, she was selected as a presenter at the conference. According to the conference chair, she “delivered a thorough, organized and persuasive presentation.”
Kara, Katie and Olivia participated in the case study competition to analyze the social, economic and biological aspects of influenza. The Angels were assigned to teams with students around the world to write a six page report. They presented their findings in front of their peers and a panel of judges.
“We were very fortunate to have Jessica, Kara, Katie and Olivia as part of our conference. You should be very proud to have such impressive and talented students at your school.”
