  • Angel Athletic Fund

The Academy enjoys a proud reputation of success in athletics.  Nearly sixty percent of students compete in interscholastic athletics at St. Joe, an experience which fosters teamwork, leadership, and discipline.  Contributions to the Angel Athletic Fund support various department needs, such as equipment, maintenance of facilities, even outfitting an individual student to play a sport who could otherwise not do so.
  • Annual Fund

The needs and opportunities for SJA are endless. Gifts to this fund are unrestricted and help support the area of greatest need. The administration will allocate these dollars for school operations or programs most needed.
  • Fine Arts

We believe in a balanced approach to developing the whole women. Fine Arts is no exception to this effort. Support expands our financial resources for theatre, visual arts, musical productions and concerts. Piano tuning, rentals, orchestra fees, art supplies all add up – these programs often enable our girls to find their own voice in the arts.
  • Heart of an Angel

Contributions to this fund enable students to participate in special traditions and activities that fulfill their St. Joe experience who may not otherwise be able to afford to do so.  Oftentimes, the little things are so important, and it may be these that create a lifetime of memories. Heart of an Angel funds help a student be part of just such experiences.  Your gift can provide an SJA class ring for a junior or Father-Daughter Dance bid, enable a student to go on a Kairos retreat or participate more fully in Mission Week, or simply make daily life easier by underwriting school lunches or course books and materials.
  • Scholarship Fund

St. Joe is able to offer financial assistance to students who would not otherwise be able to attend the Academy thanks to gifts from generous donors. We deeply appreciate contributions that help us address this critical need.  Specially designated funds also provide tuition assistance for any St. Joe Angel whose family experiences a sudden, drastic change of circumstances.  Nearly twenty percent of students receive scholarship assistance.

  • STEM

Building upon the success of the past few years, SJA is committed to expanding this academic focus for the future of our Angels.  Opportunities in these industries are growing, especially for women. Funds for lab equipment, enhanced programing, and student competitions (such as support for the state-qualifying JoeBotics team) can go a long way towards helping the Academy meet its goals in this area of endeavor.
St. Joseph's Academy is called forth by our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, to "serve the Dear Neighbor without distinction."
