Welcome to St. Joseph’s Academy’s Campus Ministry Department! We have the beautiful pleasure of working with each student to help her grow in faith, dedication to service, and ability to reflect on her life at SJA and beyond.

We recognize that each young woman is on her own journey, and we meet each student right where she is. Campus Ministry provides wonderful opportunities to help plan and participate in liturgies, retreats, and community outreach.

The Campus Ministry Room is a great place to hang out before or after school or during your downtime throughout the school day. We have a lot of wonderful things planned for you this year; the continuation of many traditions, but also some new and exciting programs. This is YOUR personal invitation to get involved in CM this year. All are welcome and encouraged to join us as we pray, play, and grow in our faith together.

In faith,
Anna Hotop, Director of Campus Ministry

New Campus Ministry Room

The opening of St. Joseph’s Academy’s new Campus Ministry Room puts SJA at the forefront of collaborative faith-filled learning. Campus Ministry is a vital part of every girl's life at St. Joseph’s Academy. The space is a safe, supportive place where girls can go to help build a lifelong foundation of faith and values. The room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that Ms. Anna Hotop, Director of Campus Ministry, states “will open endless doors and opportunities for us in Campus Ministry. We are very intentional on incorporating the legacy and charism of our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, alive and vibrant in all aspects of life at the Academy.  The new technology includes video conferencing equipment, which will allow SJA to take to connect directly to CSJ ministries and sister schools around the world.” SJA was blessed to be joined by generous supporters, students, faculty and CSJs at the grand opening of Campus Ministry on September 5. This dream project became a reality through the 2017 Auction Fund-A-Need and the generosity of an alumna parent.

    St. Joe Serves

Volunteers are needed on the second day of each month, all year long, to serve at the Sts. Peter and Paul Soup Kitchen. Meals are served to about 150 guests – the menu varies and often, parents supply an ingredient such as sloppy joe mixture or a cheesy potato casserole, etc. The entire St. Joe community can participate – there is lots of space and lots to do!

When the second of the month falls on a Monday – Friday, volunteers are needed from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., and when the second falls on a Saturday or Sunday, volunteers are needed from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
