    Director of College Counseling
With more than 16 years of educational experience, including 14 years of college admissions, mentoring, and counseling, Trisha Hasbrouck is thrilled to call St. Joseph’s Academy home! Though a native of Texas and graduate of UT Austin, Trisha has lived and worked all over the United States and abroad, most recently directing college readiness programs at private schools in both Morocco and China. She brings with her extensive knowledge from her previous role as a university admissions officer, as well as from her 12 years spent in the classroom as an English, Speech, and Journalism teacher. She prioritizes establishing personal relationships, in order to guide students and families to their perfect post-secondary match.

As a mother of two young children, Trisha understands how important it is to look at the holistic value of colleges to ensure their ability of bringing out the very best in each unique student. Trisha’s husband, Andrew, is also an educator and the new Dean of Students and Director of Curriculum at a nearby K-6 school. Trisha strives to live her life with passion and purpose and looks forward to doing so at St. Joe.
  • Ms. Christine Holladay

    Assistant Director of College Counseling
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Christine arrived in St. Louis in 2002 and spent the next four years completing her B.A. in Psychology and Theatre at Washington University in St. Louis. After a year spent interning at the Catholic Student Center at Washington University, Christine began her career in education simultaneously working on her Master's degree and teaching fifth grade in inner city Baltimore. As a member of Operation T.E.A.C.H. (Teachers Enlisted to Advance Catholic Heritage), Christine lived with other young people dedicated to education and social justice. After completing her Master's degree, Christine moved back to St. Louis and began working on the north side of the city and was engaged in schools with the Nativity Miguel model of education as a Graduate Support Director. As a Graduate Support Director, Christine worked tirelessly to forge strong personal relationships with her students and families to support each student's academic and career goals to and through post-secondary completion. A lay associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph - Carondelet, Christine feels very at home with the mission and charism of SJA, and is thrilled to join the community this year. Outside of school, Christine enjoys singing in groups (and occasionally solo), exploring the many cultural opportunities in the city, reading, knitting and crocheting, and laughing with friends.
