Dear SJA Angel Dads,
Welcome to St. Joseph’s Academy and the St. Joseph’s Academy Fathers’ Club.

One of my favorite quotes is by legendary Notre Dame Football Coach Lou Holtz, “If you’re coasting, you’re going downhill.” All one has to do is look around SJA to assess the direction we are headed. We recently welcomed our new president Dr. Regina Mooney, work has started on updating the locker rooms, and construction is underway on the new Digital Innovation Space, which will provide our Angels with state of the art technology in a new, 21st century collaborative learning environment. If that was not enough, the Angels’ entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well with the new ‘Cup of Joe Coffee Café’ that is being developed using some space in the cafeteria area. SJA is certainly not coasting!

The SJA Fathers’ Club is not coasting either and I want to cordially invite you come join the fun, help support St. Joseph’s Academy, as well as strengthen your relationship with your daughter.

Our primary mission is twofold: to support SJA’s scholarship fund and to plan functions for fathers and daughters to get together and participate in spiritual, community service and social activities. For example, last year the Fathers’ Club was able to donate $75,200 to SJA. The majority of those funds are dedicated to offsetting the cost of education for any Angel who loses a parent who is the primary income earner while they are a student at St. Joe. Additionally, other funds were used to purchase needed equipment for the Mathematics department and a new camera for the SJA Newspaper.

We raise money and support the SJA mission through numerous activities throughout the year, which are listed to the right. These activities are coordinated through our various committees: Golf, Hospitality, BBQ, Service and Projects.

Please consider joining one of our committees. You can sign up for one of these committees by clicking the link below or by contacting the parent office at
Please consider sharing some of your time and talents with us, help the Fathers’ Club support SJA’s mission and enhance your bond with your daughter.
I look forward to seeing you at one of the events!
