Welcome to St. Joseph's Academy and the Fathers’ Club!

My name is Roger Weismiller, and I will be serving as the Fathers' Club President for the 2017-2018 Academic Year. Whether you are a returning dad, or father of an incoming freshman or new student, I sincerely hope you will consider this invitation to become an active member of our organization in the upcoming school year. If you are a SJA father or father-figure, you are a member of our Fathers’ Club!

While we exist to support St. Joe in any way asked and have fun doing so, our primary purpose is to raise money for the St. Joseph's Academy Parent Scholarship Fund. This scholarship fund covers the cost of tuition for any Angel who loses their primary tuition-paying parent while attending St. Joe, so that she will not have to leave her friends and her school at a most difficult time. We do this through the annual St. Joe Classic Golf Tournament, which will be held this year on Monday, October 2, at Meadowbrook Country Club.

As mentioned, we also enjoy a number of activities and social events (noted in the calendar on the right) that include both dads and daughters, giving us an opportunity to spend time with our daughters, socialize with old friends and make some new ones. A particular favorite of mine is the Father Daughter Dinner and Dance held in January.

The Fathers' Club Board includes the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Hospitality Chair. While I will be serving as the President for this year, our officers include Vice President Sam Duggan (Ally ‘19), Treasurer Jim Harter (Annie ‘18), Secretary Chris Hayes (Mary ‘20) and Hospitality Chair Chris Doehring (Kate ‘19). I'm grateful to these gentlemen in advance for their willingness to serve in these positions.

In addition, we have an amazing number of dads that love to help when asked, lead a committee, or play a vital role as a member of our committees (Golf, Hospitality, BBQ, Campus Service Projects and Community Service Projects. to name a few). If any of these sound like something you’d be interested in, click on the "Volunteer for the Fathers' Club" button below to sign up for any of these committies.

Please take note of the dates on the calendar on this page and plan to join us.

The Fathers’ Club provides an excellent way for you to live the school’s motto, “Not I, But We.” As I can attest and as many of us already know, your daughter’s time here at St. Joseph Academy will fly by in the blink of an eye. There is no better time to lend your support than now.

Each of us possesses a number of unique individual talents. Please consider sharing some of those with us. I can promise you that your daughter will notice. Thank you for your consideration.
