Mutant Millet Project Wraps Up

AP Biology students finishing up their data collection for the Danforth Plant Science Center’s Mutant Millets Project. 
This project studied the drought resistance of different varieties of millet, a crop plant. Our students grew several mutant strains of millet under drought conditions and then measured and recorded key features of the plants.
St. Joseph’s Academy is a private, Catholic high school for girls in St. Louis, Missouri, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.
