Personal Finance’s Interactive Field Trip

Students in “BUS 831: Personal Finance” visited the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis’ “Inside the Economy Museum.” The award-winning museum immerses visitors in a one-of-a-kind experience that explains the economy, and their role in it, in a fun and interactive way. Terry Holland O'Brien '79 greeted the class upon arrival! She shared information about working at the Federal Reserve Bank and prestigious student opportunities.

This course, taught by Mrs. Veronica Washington, invites students to explore their role as consumers in our economic system. Students learn about budgeting, tax preparation, banking, investing and purchasing insurance.
