Summer Math Review

By: Julia Garlich ’17, Intern
Summer learning loss, commonly referred to as the “summer slide,” has become a significant problem in classrooms across the country. For this reason, members of the SJA Math Department offered a three week summer review for incoming freshmen. The sessions allowed the students to brush up on math skills before the fall semester begins. In addition to improving their math skills, the students were able to meet SJA teachers and their classmates.
