STEM & Senior Projects

Several seniors are carrying out their senior service projects at hospitals, animal shelters and research facilities. Here are some of the ways that our seniors are combining their service to “the Dear Neighbor” with STEM.

Emily Meara, Elle Mundwiller, Kristen Weber, Lauren Kimes and Emma Walsh are working in a garden while volunteering at Our Lady's Inn, a shelter for pregnant women and their children.

Grace Conway, Emma Heienickle, Emily Ferbet, Emily Oberreiter and Alex Kerr, are working with algae, seeds and plants during their research-based service project at the Danforth Plant Sciences Center.
St. Joseph’s Academy is a private, Catholic high school for girls in St. Louis, Missouri, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Our mission is to provide quality Catholic education for young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for self and others. Our community expects these young women to make a profound impact in the world.
