American Literature- Great Gatsby

Sophomores in American Literature are reading F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby.” In preparation for reading the novel, the students were assigned a preview project that involved researching different aspects of the 1920s, including fashion, technology, music and influential figures.

In this course, students study literary movements, major writers and selected works from the colonial period through the 20th century. To learn more about the Academy’s English curriculum, please click here.
