JoeBotics Team Update

By Dr. Rosemary Davidson
The JoeBotics team competed in the FIRST Robotics Tech Challenge Missouri State Championship at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri on February 24th.

JoeBotics had a great day at the State Championship – the girls won 3 of the 5 matches played during the competition. It was a very successful day with the girls at the controls and the robot working together the best we have seen all season.  The Angels were fantastic representatives of St. Joe!

Thanks to adult mentors Mr. Michael Goodrow from Boeing, Mr. Alfred Strout, and Mrs. Julie Haddock, the faculty sponsor of the team.

Team members include Katie Augsburger(’20) , Lauren Boozer(’18) , Kate Broun(’20) , Sydney Hilker(’20), Katie Horan(’19) , Megan Johar(’18) , Abby Kahrhoff(’19) , Katie Kostecki(’20) , Sophie Maniscalco(’21), Bonnie Peccola(’19) , Kristin Strout(’19) and Madison Weishaar(’21) .
