CSE at the Curriculum Fair

On January 25th, the new Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department was introduced to the freshman, sophomore and junior students during the Curriculum Fair. Ms. Mary Jackson and Mrs. Kathy Siegel presented the CS courses. Mr. Bud Stein and Mrs. Julie Haddock presented the Engineering classes to the students.

The CSE course offerings include the following courses for 2018-2019:
  • Computer Science Applications
  • Analyzing Big Data
  • Video Production
  • Introduction to Coding: Web Design
  • Introduction to Coding: JAVA
  • Engineering and Design Applications
  • Engineering Methods
  • Robotics
AP Computer Science Principles will be offered beginning 2019-2020 and an Introduction to Engineering is being planned.

Two videos to inspire the students to take CSE courses were shown by Dr. Davidson:
