JoeBotics Team Advances to State!

By Dr. Rosemary Davidson
Team 7547, JoeBotics, had an amazing ride at the qualifier this past weekend.  They won the coveted Inspire Award, which is the top prize awarded to each qualifier.  This advances us to the state championships in February!

Note: For those unfamiliar with robotics, there are two ways to advance. One is on the field in matches, and we had a 'character-building' day on the field. The other is through judged awards, which evaluates student design and innovation work, the engineering notebook, outreach and community service, motivation and team spirit, and the presentation of their notebook to judges. In this, these girls rocked it!

JoeBotics Team: Megan Johar, Lauren Boozer, Kristin Strout, Bonnie Peccola, Katie Horan, Abby Kahrhoff, Kate Broun, Sydney Hilker, Katie Kostecki, Katie Augsburger, Sophie Mansicalco and Madison Weishaar.
