“We Share the Same Sky”

Students in “Bearing Witness: Holocaust Literature of Extraordinary Lives” have been listening to Rachael Cerrotti’s podcast, We Share the Same Sky. The podcast brings the past into our present through a granddaughter’s decade-long journey to retrace her grandmother’s story of survival. It is the first-ever narrative podcast to be based on a Holocaust survivor’s testimony and was listed as one of the best podcasts of 2019 by HuffPost, as a “Show We Love” by Apple Podcasts, and "Reader’s Pick” by Vulture Magazine

Mrs. Kelly Berry (English Department) invited Rachael Cerrotti to virtually meet with the class. Students had the opportunity to discuss the podcast, stories about her grandmother’s life and her upcoming book, We Share The Same Sky: A Memoir of Memory and Migration
