Dr. Taylor Geisman ’09

Jen Carpio Bisch ’92 (SJA Science Department Chair) invited Dr. Taylor Geisman ’09 to virtually visit with her “ACP Anatomy and Physiology” class. Students had the opportunity to hear about her undergraduate experience, heard tips about applying to medical school and information about her current position.

In 2020, Dr. Geisman joined the Washington University in St. Louis Department of Medicine in the Division of General Medicine as an Instructor. Her current research interest is in inflammatory bowel diseases, specifically looking at obstetric outcomes in women with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
