International Day of Women and Girls in Science Day

February 11 was "International Day of Women and Girls in Science Day!" At the Academy, the Science Department's goal is to encourage students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) from freshman through senior year. The students are utilizing the brand-new "Weidert Center for Integrated Science!" These reimagined classrooms provide the kind of hands-on, collaborative, experimental learning that Every Girl needs to excel today.
St. Joseph’s Academy is a private, Catholic high school for girls in St. Louis, Missouri, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Our mission is to provide quality Catholic education for young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for self and others. Our community expects these young women to make a profound impact in the world.
