National Girls and Women in Sports Day

February 3 was the 35th Annual “National Girls and Women in Sports Day.” Every year, this celebration acknowledges the accomplishments of women athletes, recognizes the influence of sports participation for women and girls and honors the progress and continuing struggle for equality for women in sports.

SJA celebrated our scholar-athletes and athletic program. Our Athletic Association was formed in 1926 and began competing in interscholastic athletics in 1938. Since then, the Angels have won 59 team state titles and more than 20 individual state crowns. For more information about St. Joe Athletics, please click here.
