Golf Angels Receive State Recognition
Missouri Representative Dean Plocher (District No. 89) delivered exciting news to St. Joseph’s Academy:
“Whereas, the St. Joseph’s Academy Girls Golf Team is to be commended for taking First Place at the Missouri State High School Activities Association State Golf Championship.
Whereas, seniors Drew Nienhaus and Nicole Rallo earned the fourth State Golf Championship for St. Joseph’s Academy; and
Whereas, the St. Joseph’s Academy Angels hold distinction as the first girls golf team to win five consecutive state titles; and
Whereas, this latest victory marks St. Joseph’s Academy’s tenth state [golf] title; and
Whereas, the Angels could not have attained such phenomenal success this season without the unparalleled guidance and leadership of Coach Carol Fromuth:
Now, therefore, be it resolved that we, members of the Missouri House of Representatives, One Hundredth General Assembly, join in extending our most hearty congratulations to the St. Joseph’s Academy Girls Golf Team at this proud moment of well-deserved distinction.”
St. Joseph’s Academy is a college preparatory high school sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Our mission at the Academy is to provide quality Catholic education for young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for self and others.
