Psychology Class Creates Empowering Books

After studying gender stereotypes and analyzing an early 20th century children's book, students in 'ACP Psychology' and 'Psychology' were assigned to create a 21st-century version of the book that incorporated empowerment.

These courses, instructed by Mr. Jacob Yorg, use discussions and practical application projects that allow students the opportunity to gain personal awareness and experiential learning. Topics include communication differences between genders, individual's development through their lifespan, identity development, cultural competence, psychological disorders and more.
