Celebrating Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month

In May, SJA’s Diversity Club invited members of the SJA community to join their celebration of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month. Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month originated with Congress in 1977-1978.

Throughout the month via our digital and video announcements, the club recognized several influential women, including Chien-Shiung Wu, Wilhelmina Kekelaokalaninui Widemann Dowsett, Leah Hing, Dr. Mabel Ping-Hua Lee and Tye Leung Schulze.
