St. Joe Students recognized with NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Awards

Four of our students have been recognized for their aptitude, interest and leadership in computing by the Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois Regional Affiliate of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT).

Congratulations to Sophie Maniscalco’21 for being named a “Winner” in the local affiliate competition. She went on to represent the region in the national competition, where she was recognized with “Honorable Mention.”

Congratulations to Sydney Hilker ’20 who was named a “Winner” in the local affiliate competition.

Congratulations to Johanna Jachna ’23 for being named an “Honorable Mention.”

Congratulations to Mallory Kimes ’20 for being named a “Rising Star.”

All four students will be recognized at an event at St. Louis University on April 5th.
