Students Explore Kemper Art Museum

Students in the “Voices of Human Rights” class visited the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum at Washington University in St. Louis to view the “Ai Weiwei: Bare Life” exhibition. They had the opportunity to view more than 35 works created over the last two decades in a wide variety of mediums, including sculptures, installations, photographs and films.

Weiwei is currently one of the world's most renowned artists that demonstrates concerns in all human rights topics, with a focus on China. The students gained a better understanding of how art can inspire change.
