Upcoming Challenge for our Students

Microsoft at the St. Louis Galleria is partnering with the Walgreens Expressions Challenge for their annual Expressions Challenge contest.  All students in grades 9-12 are welcome to express what matters to them through three different categories: Creative Writing, Visual Arts and Media Arts. 
  • Creative Writing: essay, poetry, short story
  • Visual Arts: graphic design, painting, sculpture, photography
  • Media Arts: video, recorded, song/rap, spoken word
There are no minimum GPA requirements to participate. Students are free to choose a topic that matters to them.  Some topic suggestions include self-esteem, gender identity, mental health, relationships, gun violence and more.
1st Place: $2000
2nd Place: $1250
People's Champ 1st Place: $300
People’s Champ 2nd Place: $200
Deadline for entries is December 15.
