St. Joe is participating in Virtual Reality Study

By Dr. Rose Davidson, STEM Coordinator
Thanks to the efforts of Mrs. Katie Lodes, St. Joe will be participating in a research study with the Virtual Human Interactions Lab at Stanford University.
The project uses virtual reality to allow students to experience the ocean up close and personal, all while in their own classroom. Students will be able to learn about the causes and effects of ocean acidification on coral reefs and marine life. St. Joe will be supplementing our existing virtual reality equipment to enhance our students’ experience.
