SLU Summer Scholar

By Dr. Rose Davidson, STEM Coordinator
Congratulations to Warnesha Minor ’21 who was accepted into the Summer Scholar Program at St. Louis University Medical School.

“This program was designed to encourage high school students from diverse backgrounds to pursue health related careers. During the three week program students will meet with a variety of health professionals, ranging from physicians in family medicine, pediatrics and pathology to dieticians and nurses. The program is coordinated with the assistance of first year medical students. In addition to career exploration, students participate in a cadaver demonstration, take a tour of Saint Louis University’s campus, complete a research project and have several hours of ACT preparation.”-St. Louis University Medical School Office of Diversity and Student Affairs.
