Holocaust Remembrance Day

The English Department honored the memory of the lives lost during the Holocaust with a special Holocaust Remembrance Day wall. Next year, SJA will offer “Bearing Witness: Holocaust Literature of Extraordinary Lives.” This course allows students to study extraordinary lives of the Holocaust through several different genres of literature, including memoirs, novels, poetry, primary documents and short stories in an attempt to gain a better understanding of the Holocaust and its implications in the contemporary world.
