Katie Pautlter ’02

Police Officer Katie Pautlter ’02, CCSI visited “ACC Forensic Science” to share her experiences as a crime scene investigator. During her visit, she shared her path to working in forensic science and discussed the real ins-and-outs of working a crime scene. Her experiences helped students understand the processes of investigating a scene and clarify any TV myths.

This college-credit class, taught by Mrs. Jen Carpio Bisch '92, is lab-based and includes investigations in the study of physical evidence, examination of the crime scene, fiber and hair analysis, forensic toxicology, DNA, trace evidence, fingerprints, blood splatter, entomology and document examination.
