Kaylen Rice ‘18

Kaylen Rice ’18 received special recognition from “Volunteer LSU” for her role as the Civic Awareness and Engagement Focus Area Chair! Kaylen shared the following information with the organization:

"My most memorable experience, which is still occurring, would be planning an event focused on domestic violence in the community and in Louisiana as a whole. Working on the logistics and the beginnings of planning this event are all surreal and make me so happy that I am not only able to help the community in an important focus area, but also help students of LSU get involved in this project.

My personal motto that was heavily instilled in high school was “Not I, But We,” and through planning this event I am able to continue to live that out."

Kaylen is currently studying Kinesiology (Pre-Med) at Louisiana State University.
