EngineerGirl STEM Challenge

By Dr. Rose Davidson, STEM Coordinator
Congratulations to Kelsey Rowland, the winner of the EngineerGirl STEM Challenge. This STEM Challenge was designed to help students to craft an entry into the National Academy of Engineering’s EngineerGirl Writing Contest: Stories Engineered to Inspire.
SJA students were challenged to submit works of creative fictional stories about women and girls saving the day with their wits, skill, and whatever resources they can find to solve the problem, stories that inspire young women to think, "I want to be able to do that" or "I can do that."
Kelsey will now be editing and polishing her entry for the national EngineerGirl essay competition.
