Freedom: A Celebration of Black History through Music

The Black History Month student committee presented “Freedom: A Celebration of Black History through Music.” Students, parents and friends gathered in the Theater to learn about the history, styles and messages conveyed in different pieces of music written and performed by African American artists. Students researched, listened to and selected songs from different eras to share with the audience.

Many thanks to the committee and Ms. Ann Hammer, Diversity Club moderator, for organizing this informative event.
