Planned Giving

A planned gift is a donor’s commitment to benefit SJA through an outright gift or a deferred gift that takes effect at death. There are many types of planned gifts and strategies that can provide tax deductions and benefits to the donor.

Why we put st. joe in our estate plans

Our family has had a long and loving relationship with SJA. Over 10 members of our family have attended St. Joe.

We are so grateful for the excellent education our family has received. It has provided a valued structure not only in academics but also religious and personal relationships that we enjoy to this day.

We wanted to continue this great work of the Academy for future students. Their motto "Not I, But We" should continue for future generations. We hope that they will appreciate as much as we, the purpose and love of school and classmates that we have experienced. St. Joe now incorporates the latest in Technology, the Arts, and the long-standing tradition of a Catholic education. This is definitely one of the best investments we could ever make.

The Le Puy Society

The Le Puy (luh pwee) Society honors the first Sisters of St. Joseph who, in the village of Le Puy France, began their ministry in 1650. The Le Puy Society recognizes parents, alumnae, parents of alumnae, grandparents, and friends of St. Joseph’s Academy who have expressed their commitment to our school by naming St. Joe as a beneficiary of a planned gift or bequest. By making a planned gift to SJA, you have the opportunity to leave a legacy.

  • A legacy honoring those trailblazing Sisters from Le Puy, France
  • A legacy that will enable St. Joseph’s Academy to ensure that future generations of young women will continue to benefit from the school’s long standing tradition of excellence in Catholic education

If you have already included St. Joseph’s Academy in your estate plans, but have not yet notified us, please let us know. We would be honored to recognize you as part of our Le Puy Society and keep you informed on school news. Disclosure of amount is not needed, but knowing of your intent is tremendously helpful in planning for the future of the Academy.

Give to St. Joe

Le Puy Society Members

The Le Puy Society recognizes donors who ensure the legacy of St. Joseph’s Academy by including the school in their estate plans. These gifts allow SJA to plan for the future and can provide donors with lifetime income and significant tax benefits.
