Campus Enhancements

The Expect More Capital Campaign for Every Girl is our chance to educate the whole woman for today’s world. Reimagined and upgraded facilities advance our holistic education in a range of core programs — science, technology, engineering, mathematics, visual arts, campus ministry — and help prepare forward-thinking, mission-oriented, values-driven women for tomorrow.

List of 3 items.

  • Fall 2017 Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry is a vital part of every girl’s life at St. Joe, helping her build a lifelong foundation of Catholic faith and values. In 2017, Campus Ministry moved to a central space on our first floor – the heart of the school – where it can play an even more central role in our student’s lives.
  • Fall 2020 Integrated Science

Science education has changed dramatically in recent decades. Technology and mathematics have become even more central to our lives and careers. St. Joseph’s Academy has expanded the curriculum to include programs in everything from computer science and environmental science to calculus, robotics, and engineering. But, our current facilities remain largely unchanged since St. Joseph’s Academy opened in 1955.  With this campaign, the entire third floor was renovated for life sciences, chemistry, physics, engineering and digital innovation. Reimagined classrooms provide the kind of hands-on, collaborative, experimental learning that Every Girl needs to excel today.
  • Spring 2020 Visual Arts

The arts remain an integral part of our students’ learning, encouraging them to think critically and take risks. Expect More provided the opportunity to relocate and expand our Visual Arts program into a dedicated space on the second floor. The three classrooms were designed specifically for the unique requirements of painting, drawing, ceramics and more.
St. Joseph’s Academy is a college preparatory high school sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Our mission at the Academy is to provide quality Catholic education for young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for self and others. Our community expects these young women to make a profound impact in the world.
