Remembering Ravensbruck

Created by the Kennesaw State University Public History and German Studies Programs and the Ravensbrück Memorial Site, Remembering Ravensbrück tells the story of the Nazi concentration camp in Germany where more than 150,000 women were interned. The exhibition focuses on the history of the camp, from its beginning in 1939 to its liberation in 1945, and highlights the stories of individual women.

Ten visually rich panels feature historic photographs, maps, and artwork created by the prisoners, a testament to the women’s spirit of survival and resistance. St. Joe’s 12th grade students from the Bearing Witness: Holocaust Literature of Extraordinary Lives course will curate the exhibit as well as serve as exhibit docents.

Please contact Mrs. Dianne Dunning-Gill at ddg@sja1840.org or (314) 394-4321 to reserve your spots for this event!
