Dia de Los Ninos

Día de los Niños, or Children's Day, is celebrated in many Hispanic countries. It recognizes children, pays homage to their importance in society, and endorses their well-being. Many countries throughout the world have a similar type of recognition for their youngest citizens. Oftentimes, schools will have small celebrations with fun and sweets. Tapestry members organized four piñatas filled with some of their favorite traditional Mexican candies. Each grade level will have the chance to break open one piñata in the Outdoor Theater during lunch on Thursday, September 8th. One lucky student from each grade level will find and win an angel bracelet.
