    Wear Your Junior Ring Day

Remember your Junior Ring Day at SJA? The beloved tradition continues on Friday, April 5, 2019 for the Class of 2020. And in keeping with St. Joe’s “Not I, But We” motto, we encourage YOU, our loyal alumnae, to wear YOUR St. Joe ring in solidarity with our junior class, the newest recipients of the treasured St. Joe ring.

Post a picture of you wearing your ring from wherever you are – your college campus, workplace, home, the mountains, the beach, etc. – to the Alumnae Facebook page and use #SJARingDay with your pictures. We’ll do the same from the Academy, sharing Ring Day photos on our social media sites.

If you aren’t following us, make sure to like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and join our Instagram page so you don’t miss out! Search your drawers, find your ring and plan to join us for Wear Your Ring Day on April 6. Let’s show our juniors some Ring Day love from coast to coast!

    Summer at SJA: Acrylic Painting

    5th-8th Grade

This camp will explore various methods of acrylic painting, under the guidance of a self-taught local artist. We will create abstract marbling effects using poured fluid acrylic paints applied to small canvases and/or wooden structures. We will also recreate a mystical landscape by following along to a Bob Ross instructional video. Participants will discover the joy of painting by embracing the beauty of mistakes, happy accidents, and unintended results. No prior painting or art experience is necessary!
