The Application Process for 8th Grade Applicants

The St. Joseph's Academy Admissions Council recognizes that students are not defined by one area alone. The Council uses a holistic approach for admissions, considering the student's standardized test scores and her grades from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. All students interested in applying to St. Joseph’s Academy should fill out our online application, complete and submit the student essay and schedule a family interview.

Important Dates to Remember:
October 14 - November 15, 2019: Students who attend Archdiocesan schools or participate in Catholic Parish School of Religion (PSR) should complete the Archdiocesan Catholic High School online application. Online applications will be accepted beginning October 14 through November 15, 2019.

Public school applicants should complete the St. Joseph’s Academy application to begin the process.

November 2019: 
Archdiocesan schools will forward grade school transcripts to the student’s first choice high school. Public school applicants should print off a copy of the Transcript Release Form from the student’s middle school to be sent directly to St. Joseph’s Academy.
December 2019 - January 2020: Family interviews will be conducted at SJA.
January 31, 2020: Decision letters are mailed and electronic notifications are sent to the email address on the student’s St. Joseph’s Academy application. 

January 31, 2020: FACTS Financial Aid Application submission deadline. 
February 1, 2020: Welcome to St. Joe Day. We will welcome all newly accepted students for the Class of 2024 for a party from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the student commons area.
