Basketball Camp - Session I: Grades 2-4
St. Joseph’s Academy invites girls of all skill levels to participate in our Basketball Camp. Campers will learn essential basketball fundamentals, including dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and teamwork—through engaging drills, skill stations, and age-appropriate scrimmages. Our Tennis Camp offers a fun and energetic experience for kids of all skill levels, including advanced players. Campers will learn fundamental skills such as forehand, backhand, serving, footwork, and scoring through age-appropriate drills, games, and match play, as well as refined advanced techniques including stroke technique, footwork patterns, strategy for singles and doubles, and mental aspects of the game. The camp emphasizes skill development, confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for the game in a positive and encouraging environment. Whether your child is new to tennis or is looking to improve their existing skills, this camp provides a great opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun while making new friends.

Angel Sampler Camp - Grades 3-5
Curious about St. Joe? Our full day Angel Sampler Camp is the perfect way for 3rd–5th graders to experience the fun, energy, and heart of St. Joseph’s Academy — all in one action-packed week. Campers will spend their days exploring campus, making new friends, and rotating through a variety of exciting activities led by our amazing faculty and current SJA Angels. From creative projects and games to team challenges and mini adventures, every day brings something new to discover. Along the way, girls will get a feel for what it’s like to be a St. Joe Angel — learning about our school, our traditions, and our “Not I, But We” spirit — all while laughing, playing, and having a blast. Whether it’s their first time on campus or they already dream of becoming an Angel, this camp is a fun, welcoming way to sample the St. Joe experience and make memories that last long after summer ends. This camp includes lunch each day.

Morning Sessions
3D Printing - Grades 6-9
Join SJA teacher, John Gundy, for a week of all things STEM! Students will get the opportunity to work with different 3D printing devices and techniques. Campers will learn TinkerCAD and design items ranging from useful to whimsical. Campers will also get to assemble a functional prosthetic hand designed by Enabling the Future. The designs will be brought to life on a variety of 3D printers. From name tags to dollhouse furniture to little action figures, campers will only be limited by their imagination.

Children's Books by You! - Grades 5-8
Create and write your own childrens book! Campers will begin by analyzing already published children’s books and determining what topics and criteria each age group hold. Once campers have a good idea of their preferred age group, they will draft and outline their own original children’s book. Finally, campers will write and create each page of their book. Once camp is over, campers can expect a printed version of their book.

Class of 2030 Leadership Camp - Grade 9
Discover your leadership potential as you embark on your high school journey at St. Joe. Over the course of yfour days, campers will interact with other incoming freshmen as they gain the self-awareness of what it means to be a servant leader. The camp will go over how to identify leadership styles and strengths, ways to express individuality, and gain confidence speaking in front of others and working on teams. The camp will culminate in each camper creating a vision board, as well as one for the Class of 2030.

Cupcakes! - Grades 6-8
Get ready to mix, swirl, and sprinkle your way through a sweet experience in this fun, hands-on camp where creativity meets cupcakes! During camp, the focus will be on decorating techniques like piping, borders, textures, and creative designs. We will provide the buttercream icing and disposable piping bags as campers learn piping techniques, experiment with designs, and decorate cupcakes that look as amazing as they taste. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and a sweet tooth! Campers can bring any decorating tips or tools they want to try.

Party Prep 101 - Grades 6-8
This fun week will introduce campers to all of the party basics, from the invitations to thank you cards after the party. Campers will learn how to craft cards, decorations, and party favors. The camp will also include fun dessert preparation for the party.

Spa Camp - Grades 6-8
Campers will create different DIY beauty products, such as kool-aid lip balm and sugar scrubs. They will mix scents and colors to create their own unique bath bombs. Campers will play fun games like spa-themed charades and bingo. Campers will enjoy healthy and fun snacks each day and they will work on relaxation strategies throughout the week, including games outside and art projects. During camp, we will discuss their nail, hair, and skin health, and how to care for them.

Robotics - Grades 6-9
Join SJA teacher, John Gundy, and members of JoeBotics (the first all-girls school robotics team in the state of Missouri) for a week of all things STEM! Campers will form engineering teams and, under the guidance of a JoeBotics roboteer, build and program robots. Campers will use Mindstorms Robot Inventor kits, and teams will engage in friendly competitions to run mazes and move objects around in a special robot arena. We may even play robot soccer or basketball!

Can you tell if something you see online is generated by AI? Are you able to read beyond the headline, or identify when something doesn’t seem right? Is that viral TikTok trend/headline really true, or is it rooted in a joke or a lie? From detecting if videos, pictures, or text is generated by AI to determining what “truth” you’re being fed online, this course will challenge your media literacy and ideas on how content is presented digitally.

Crack the Case! - Grades 5-8
Step into the role of a forensic scientist and uncover the science behind solving crimes! In this exciting one-week forensic science camp, middle school students will explore how real investigators use evidence, observation, and scientific reasoning to crack a case. Throughout the week, campers will analyze fingerprints, DNA simulations, fibers, handwriting, shoe prints, and trace evidence while learning how chemistry, biology, and physics come together in forensic investigations. Students will practice critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving as they apply scientific methods to realistic scenarios.

Model Rocket Building - Grades 6-8
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF! Do you want to learn to build Fee: $130
and fly two model rockets? If so, join us this summer to build and fly a 12-inch tall rocket from a kit and then build and fly a 20-inch tall rocket from scratch, no directions given to you. Campers will choose the materials needed to build this rocket. As they build their rockets, campers will learn the parts of a rocket and what purpose each one serves. Longtime SJA teacher, Mr. Bud Stein, will lead campers for a week of an exhilarating journey into the cosmos with Rocket Camp – an unforgettable experience. The SJA Rocket Club will assist as well.

Athlete 360: Mind, Body, & Team - Grades 7-8
This camp is designed specifically for 7th and 8th grade girls who want to grow as athletes, teammates, and leaders. Through a combination of athletic training, interactive workshops, and team-building activities, participants will learn skills that apply both on and off the field. Camp sessions will focus on sport-specific fundamentals, strength and conditioning basics, injury prevention, and proper training habits. In addition, athletes will explore important topics such as leadership, confidence, perseverance, and what it means to be a supportive and positive teammate. Mindfulness and mental training activities will help athletes learn how to manage stress, stay focused, and develop a
healthy mindset toward competition. Campers will be encouraged to challenge themselves, reflect on their growth, and build meaningful connections with peers. This camp provides a fun, empowering environment where girls can develop athletic skills, strengthen character, and gain tools to succeed as leaders and teammates in sports and in life.

St. Joe Junior Chefs - Grades 6-8
Calling all future Food Network stars! SJA’s Junior Chefs
cooking camp invites students to step into the kitchen and embark on a delicious, hands-on culinary journey led by our very own Food Service Consultants’ chefs. Each day, campers will focus on a different course - from starters and sides to entrées and desserts. They will learn how to prepare, taste, and refine their creations along the way. Campers will build real kitchen skills, including cooking safety, proper knife techniques, plating, seasoning, and the insider tips and tricks that turn good cooks into great ones. The grand finale? On the final day of camp, each Junior Chef will invite two special guests to St. Joe for a restaurant-style experience, proudly serving a full meal they’ve created themselves - complete with a starter, side, entrée, and dessert. Whether your camper is already obsessed with cooking or just loves to try new things, this camp blends creativity, confidence, and community in the most delicious way possible. Space is limited!

Join a 4-day summer camp to show off your creative side in Minecraft! Each day will feature a unique building challenge and other goals that can provide a challenge. Extra tools and commands will be available in-game, allowing you to build beyond the tools of creative mode. At the end of the week, everything will be combined into one large world that can be saved and taken home! A Minecraft account is not required to join this camp.

Week of June 29-July 3, 2026
Morning Session
Dance Camp - Grades 2-8
Girls entering grades 2-8 in the fall of 2026 are invited for a 3-day dance camp. Camp will be taught by St. Joe Dance Coach, Amy Stumpf. Campers will also receive instruction from the 2026-2027 SJA Dance Team. At camp, campers will be broken out by grade levels: students going into 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, and 6th-7th with 8th graders in their own group. Each day, camp will begin with a fun warm-up and stretch. Next, each grade level
group will learn a dance. Campers will learn a total of three dances throughout the week. On Wednesday before dismissal, the campers’ families are invited to watch their campers perform the dances they have learned. Dress code: Shorts and T-shirts or tanks. Campers can wear dance shoes or clean tennis shoes.

Lunch AT CAMP - WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED!
Spending the whole day at St. Joe? Let us take lunch off your plate! If your camper is attending both a morning and an afternoon camp, they can stay on campus and enjoy lunch with their fellow Angels in between sessions. Lunch will be from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. You have two great options:
Hot Lunch Option: $40 per week
Our St. Joe school chefs will serve up a classic hot lunch each day during our two camp weeks — including a full meal and drink. No packing, no hassle, just happy campers fueled for afternoon fun!
Supervised Lunch Option: $10 per week
Prefer to pack a lunch? Campers can bring their own and enjoy it during our supervised lunch period with all of our campers. We’ll provide a daily treat and make sure everyone has a fun, safe place to relax, refuel, and recharge.
Either way, it’s the perfect way to keep the day flowing and make camp feel like one full, joyful St. Joe experience.

Angel Sampler Camp - Grades 3-5
Curious about St. Joe? Our full day Angel Sampler Camp is the perfect way for 3rd–5th graders to experience the fun, energy, and heart of St. Joseph’s Academy — all in one action-packed week. Campers will spend their days exploring campus, making new friends, and rotating through a variety of exciting activities led by our amazing faculty and current SJA Angels. From creative projects and games to team challenges and mini adventures, every day brings something new to discover. Along the way, girls will get a feel for what it’s like to be a St. Joe Angel — learning about our school, our traditions, and our “Not I, But We” spirit — all while laughing, playing, and having a blast. Whether it’s their first time on campus or they already dream of becoming an Angel, this camp is a fun, welcoming way to sample the St. Joe experience and make memories that last long after summer ends. Children's Books by You! - Grades 5-8
Create and write your own childrens book! Campers will begin by analyzing already published children’s books and determining what topics and criteria each age group hold. Once campers have a good idea of their preferred age group, they will draft and outline their own original children’s book. Finally, campers will write and create each page of their book. Once camp is over, campers can expect a printed version of their book.

Crack the Case! - Grades 5-8
Step into the role of a forensic scientist and uncover the science behind solving crimes! In this exciting one-week forensic science camp, middle school students will explore how real investigators use evidence, observation, and scientific reasoning to crack a case. Throughout the week, campers will analyze fingerprints, DNA simulations, fibers, handwriting, shoe prints, and trace evidence while learning how chemistry, biology, and physics come together in forensic investigations. Students will practice critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving as they apply scientific methods to realistic scenarios.

Dance Camp - Grades 2-8
Girls entering grades 2-8 in the fall of 2026 are invited for a 3-day dance camp. Camp will be taught by St. Joe Dance Coach, Amy Stumpf. Campers will also receive instruction from the 2026-2027 SJA Dance Team. At camp, campers will be broken out by grade levels: students going into 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, and 6th-7th with 8th graders in their own group. Each day, camp will begin with a fun warm-up and stretch. Next, each grade level
group will learn a dance. Campers will learn a total of three dances throughout the week. On Wednesday before dismissal, the campers’ families are invited to watch their campers perform the dances they have learned. Dress code: Shorts and T-shirts or tanks. Campers can wear dance shoes or clean tennis shoes.

Join SJA teacher, John Gundy, for a week of all things STEM! Students will get the opportunity to work with different 3D printing devices and techniques. Campers will learn TinkerCAD and design items ranging from useful to whimsical. Campers will also get to assemble a functional prosthetic hand designed by Enabling the Future. The designs will be brought to life on a variety of 3D printers. From name tags to dollhouse furniture to little action figures, campers will only be limited by their imagination.

Athlete 360: Mind, Body, & Team - Grades 7-8
This camp is designed specifically for 7th and 8th grade girls who want to grow as athletes, teammates, and leaders. Through a combination of athletic training, interactive workshops, and team-building activities, participants will learn skills that apply both on and off the field. Camp sessions will focus on sport-specific fundamentals, strength and conditioning basics, injury prevention, and proper training habits. In addition, athletes will explore important topics such as leadership, confidence, perseverance, and what it means to be a supportive and positive teammate. Mindfulness and mental training activities will help athletes learn how to manage stress, stay focused, and develop a

Minecraft Camp - Grades 6-9
Join a 4-day summer camp to show off your creative side in Minecraft! Each day will feature a unique building challenge and other goals that can provide a challenge. Extra tools and commands will be available in-game, allowing you to build beyond the tools of creative mode. At the end of the week, everything will be combined into one large world that can be saved and taken home! A Minecraft account is not required to join this camp.

Model Rocket Building - Grades 6-8
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF! Do you want to learn to build Fee: $130
and fly two model rockets? If so, join us this summer to build and fly a 12-inch tall rocket from a kit and then build and fly a 20-inch tall rocket from scratch, no directions given to you. Campers will choose the materials needed to build this rocket. As they build their rockets, campers will learn the parts of a rocket and what purpose each one serves. Longtime SJA teacher, Mr. Bud Stein, will lead campers for a week of an exhilarating journey into the cosmos with Rocket Camp – an unforgettable experience. The SJA Rocket Club will assist as well.

Campers will use Mindstorms Robot Inventor kits, and teams will engage in friendly competitions to run mazes and move objects around in a special robot arena. We may even play robot soccer or basketball!

Calling all future Food Network stars! SJA’s Junior Chefs
cooking camp invites students to step into the kitchen and embark on a delicious, hands-on culinary journey led by our very own Food Service Consultants’ chefs. Each day, campers will focus on a different course - from starters and sides to entrées and desserts. They will learn how to prepare, taste, and refine their creations along the way. Campers will build real kitchen skills, including cooking safety, proper knife techniques, plating, seasoning, and the insider tips and tricks that turn good cooks into great ones. The grand finale? On the final day of camp, each Junior Chef will invite two special guests to St. Joe for a restaurant-style experience, proudly serving a full meal they’ve created themselves - complete with a starter, side, entrée, and dessert. 3D Printing - Grades 6-9
Join SJA teacher, John Gundy, for a week of all things STEM! Students will get the opportunity to work with different 3D printing devices and techniques. Campers will learn TinkerCAD and design items ranging from useful to whimsical. Campers will also get to assemble a functional prosthetic hand designed by Enabling the Future. The designs will be brought to life on a variety of 3D printers. From name tags to dollhouse furniture to little action figures, campers will only be limited by their imagination.

AI Literacy, Misinformation, & Social Media - Grades 6-9
Can you tell if something you see online is generated by AI? Are you able to read beyond the headline, or identify when something doesn’t seem right? Is that viral TikTok trend/headline really true, or is it rooted in a joke or a lie? From detecting if videos, pictures, or text is generated by AI to determining what “truth” you’re being fed online, this course will challenge your media literacy and ideas on how content is presented digitally.

Minecraft Camp - Grades 6-9
Join a 4-day summer camp to show off your creative side in Minecraft! Each day will feature a unique building challenge and other goals that can provide a challenge. Extra tools and commands will be available in-game, allowing you to build beyond the tools of creative mode. At the end of the week, everything will be combined into one large world that can be saved and taken home! A Minecraft account is not required to join this camp.

Join SJA teacher, John Gundy, and members of JoeBotics (the first all-girls school robotics team in the state of Missouri) for a week of all things STEM! Campers will form engineering teams and, under the guidance of a JoeBotics roboteer, build and program robots. Campers will use Mindstorms Robot Inventor kits, and teams will engage in friendly competitions to run mazes and move objects around in a special robot arena. We may even play robot soccer or basketball!
