Application Process

The St. Joseph's Academy Admissions Council recognizes that students are not defined by one area alone. The Council uses a holistic approach for admissions, considering the student's classroom performance in 7th and 8th grades, standardized test scores and their activities and involvement. All students interested in applying to St. Joseph’s Academy should fill out the online application, complete the student essay and schedule a Family Meeting. The application process typically begins after the student completes her Shadow Visit. Please click here for more information on scheduling a Shadow Visit.

Application Checklist

Once you have visited St. Joe and your family has decided to apply, we'll ask you to complete the St. Joseph's Academy online application. After you complete the application, you will have also created an application account which you can log back into and will have checklist of items that you will need to complete in order to be considered for admission. These items will include:
  • Student Essay: an online, fillable questionnaire for your daughter to complete.
  • Schedule your Family Meeting: these begin in December and we ask that your daughter and at least one parent/guardian attend.
  • If you attend a public or independent school, provide your daughter's transcripts to St. Joe with the "Transcript Request Form" found on your checklist and also on this page.
To access your checklist, click here and you will be directed to your application account. You will be able to check on the status of these items at any time through your St. Joseph's Academy admissions checklist.

Once a family has completed these steps, their daughter can be considered for admission. The official Acceptance Day will be Friday, January 28th, 2022!
