Shadow visits for current 8th grade students have now closed.

Prospective families are invited to visit us during a typical school day, and invited to join us for additional on-campus admissions events, such as our annual fall Open House. The Shadow Visit program is a unique opportunity for prospective students to experience academic classes and connect with current students and faculty to see what life can be like as an Angel.

8th grade applications for the 2026-27 school year are now closed.

Students applying to 9th grade for the 2026-27 school year will first create an online account through the SJA Parent Portal to access the Application Form. Once this has been submitted, applicants will need to log back into their SJA Parent Portal to complete additional required steps via their Application Checklist. 

A complete SJA application includes the following additional information via an Application Checklist in the SJA Parent Portal.

  • 8th grade applications for the 2026-27 school year are now closed.
• Applicant Photo
  • Each applicant is asked to submit a current photo of herself.
• Academic Transcript
  • Each applicant must provide a full academic transcript to St. Joseph's Academy. Detailed instructions for having your official transcript sent to St. Joe are included in the Application Checklist. 
• Academic Support Documentation
  • We ask families to proactively partner with us to discuss any, and all, academic support requirements during the application process to ensure that we can provide the best possible educational experience for your daughter if accepted.
• Student Essay
  • Applicants will be asked to complete a Student Questionnaire. Instructions are provided in the Application Checklist. 

FACTS Grant and Aid application opens October 1, 2025 and closes December 31, 2025.

As a faith-based community, we are committed to ensuring that every qualified young woman has an opportunity for a St. Joseph’s Academy education. Our financial aid awards are based on financial need, taking into account assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and the number of students attending fee-based schools. Each student's award decision is unique based on the information provided.

The financial aid application is a separate application process. We encourage families to begin a financial aid application early. The Business Office can provide an early range of potential funding once an application is submitted.

• October 1, 2025: FACTS online application period opens for the 2026-27 school year
• December 31, 2025: Deadline for applications for the Class of 2030. Late applicants will be placed on a financial aid waitlist and will be considered if funds are available.
• January 31, 2026: Deadline for required documentation submission. Submission after the deadline may delay award letters.
• February 20, 2026: Award letters for the Class of 2030 will be sent via Docusign. 
• April 30, 2026: Financial aid appeals deadline.

St. Joseph’s Academy offers the Leaders in Diversity Scholarship to four 8th grade students of color who demonstrate academic strength and leadership in their community, participate in community service, and are committed to participation in St. Joe’s student Diversity, Culture, and Climate organization.

December 2025

After applicants have finished a complete application, a family meeting with an SJA administrator will be scheduled. 

The applicant and at least one parent/guardian must attend. The scheduling calendar will be available in the Application Checklist once the above application items have been submitted.

Family meetings will take place in December with morning, evening, and weekend options.

Once these steps have been completed, your daughter can be considered for admission.

Families are traditionally notified of  acceptance on Acceptance Day at the end of January.

Enrollment for the incoming freshmen, Class of 2030, is due in February 2026.
