Application & Transfer Process
Thank you for your interest in St. Joseph’s Academy.
St. Joseph's Academy recognizes that students are not defined by one area alone. The Admissions Council uses a holistic approach that considers the student's classroom performance in 7th and 8th grades, standardized test scores, and their activities and involvement. The application process typically begins after the student completes her Shadow Visit. Please contact Dianne Dunning-Gill '88 at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a shadow visit.
If you would like to submit an application or receive information about how to apply, please contact Dianne Dunning-Gill '88, Director of Enrollment Management, by phone at (314) 394-4321, or by email at email@example.com.
Once you have completed a shadow visit or school tour, and have decided to apply to St. Joseph's Academy, the next step will be to begin the formal application process.
First, applicants for the 2024-2025 school year will complete the St. Joseph's Academy online application through SchoolAdmin. This application will create an online portal, which you can log into to check the progress of your application. A checklist will show you next steps and any additional requirements that may be needed to be considered for admission.
If you are interested in applying for grade 9 for the 2023-24 school year, please contact Dianne Gunning-Gill '88 at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in applying for grades 10-11 for the 2023-24 school year, please contact the Admissions Office.
As a faith-based community, we are committed to ensuring that every qualified young woman has an opportunity for a St. Joseph’s Academy education. Our financial aid awards are based on financial need, taking into account assets, liabilities, income, expenses and the number of students attending fee-based schools. FACTS online application period opens October 1, 2023, and the deadline for FACTS application submission is January 15, 2024.
Next, after applicants have completed a shadow visit and have completed the application, family meetings should be scheduled. Your daughter and at least one parent/guardian must attend. The scheduling calendar can be found on your Admissions Checklist in SchoolAdmin.
Applicants will be asked to complete a four-question Student Questionnaire found on the Admissions Checklist in SchoolAdmin . Detailed instructions for submission are available in the online portal.
Each applicant must provide a full academic transcript to St. Joseph's Academy. The Transcript Request Form can be found on your checklist in the online portal or in the Transfer Students section of this page.
Once these steps have been completed, your daughter can be considered for admission.
Families are traditionally notified of acceptance on Acceptance Day, January 26, 2024.
