Scholar Programs
Our Scholar Programs are designed to nurture lifelong learners who are ready for more.
Global Learning Scholars
Overview
Global Learning at St. Joseph's Academy is tied to the mission and core values of our school. It is our goal that the students involved in Global Learning develop these competencies and carry them throughout their lives.
Program Information
This is a highly selective program that all freshmen and sophomores may apply for in December through an application and interview process. It is limited to 35 students. Then, when the student completes the milestones below, they are marked as a graduate of the Global Learning Scholar Program, an honor which will be recognized during our end-of-year celebrations and on their transcript.
The Global Learning Scholar Program lets the student experience the world outside of the traditional classroom. It prepares them to develop and grow in each aspect of the global competencies so they are ready to make a profound impact in the world. Through this program, the student will work with the Director of Global Learning to achieve different milestones that will help them on their journey to becoming a Global Learning Scholar.

Magis Scholars
Overview
The Magis Scholar Program seeks to create opportunities throughout a student's four years that allow for personal and academic growth, through travel, financial planning, course selection, and college visits.
Program Information
At St. Joseph’s Academy, we want all students to soar in college and their careers. Finding each student great financial, social, and academic fits for college is something that College Advising takes seriously. While advisors travel broadly, research extensively, and build relationships with colleges and universities across the country, having students visit colleges themselves is a crucial part of knowing where each student will thrive.
MORE Scholars
Overview
The MORE Scholar Program is designed to empower identified freshmen to reach their full potential at St. Joseph's Academy through intentional skill development and supported transition during their first year of high school.
Program Information
Rooted in our tradition of "Moving Towards the More" and "serving the Dear Neighbor without distinction," we provide a structured foundation that equips young women with essential tools for success in high school and beyond. Through this program, we transform potential into achievement, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive in our academic community.
STEM Scholars
Overview
The designation of STEM Scholar is awarded each year to a select group of current and rising seniors. This achievement signifies that the student has completed a rigorous course of studies in all areas of STEM during her time at St. Joseph's Academy, and has extensive involvement in STEM extracurricular activities and community events.
Program Information
The honor of STEM Scholar is granted to a limited number of students each year. STEM Scholars are recognized at Baccalaureate, Class Day, and on their St. Joseph’s Academy transcript. Applications are open to juniors and seniors in March each year.
