College Rep Visits

For the 2021-2022 school year, college admissions representatives will visit both in-person with St. Joe students and families and virtually via Zooms.

Students do not need to register for in-person college visits, but pre-registration is required for all virtual visits and can be done via students’ College Advising Canvas course.

Students of all grade levels are encouraged to attend a wide variety of visits to better understand the factors that are important to them in the college search process.

If you have any questions about signing up for visits, please contact your College Advisor.

College Coffees

Specifically geared toward freshmen and sophomore families at SJA, College Coffees will offer several opportunities throughout the school year to hear from college admissions professionals and the college advisors on an array of topics including:
  • Accelerated degree programs
  • Athletic recruiting
  • Financing college
  • Gap years
  • Making summer meaningful
  • Pre-professional programs
  • Standardized testing and the test-optional movement
  • STEM majors
  • Understanding college credit options (AP/ACC/ACP)
  • And more!
College Coffees will take place via Zoom and registration information will be sent out via the Weekly eBlast.

Summer College Knowledge Webinars

St. Joseph’s Academy’s College Advising Department offered a series of Summer College Knowledge Webinars during the summer of 2020 for current students and parents. Our expert advisors collaborated with representatives from universities and colleges from across the country to provide SJA families information about financial aid, majors, essays, applications and more. Students and parents are encouraged to continue viewing the webinar recordings located on their CANVAS College Advising page.
