We invite you to experience the St. Joseph’s Academy community of young women who are educated in faith, knowledge, and respect for self and others.
Letter from the Director
Here at St. Joseph’s Academy, we appreciate your interest in our school and welcome you to the admissions page of our website. Since 1840, St. Joseph’s Academy has been educating young women with a caring faculty who emphasize progress and personal growth academically, spiritually, socially, physically and morally.
The Admissions Department hopes that you enjoy learning about St. Joseph’s Academy online and welcomes you to take the next step and come in for a visit.
Shadowing a current student is the best way to experience St. Joseph’s Academy. Eighth grade students are encouraged to shadow in the fall months while seventh graders are welcome to shadow in the spring of their seventh grade year.
There are several steps throughout the application process, including a family interview and a student essay. Please call us for more information or to schedule a visit. I can be reached at email@example.com or directly at (314) 394-4321. You may also contact Cori Castellano Sallaberry ‘96, Associate Director of Admissions, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (314) 394-4319. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
Director of Admissions
"The second great commandment of Jesus echoes in the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the exhortation to 'reach out to the Dear Neighbor.' Jesus would have us love our neighbor as ourselves; to do this, our students develop a love for self. Our responsibility as a community is twofold: first, to help our students grow in self-respect as well as respect for others, and second, to provide opportunities and to challenge our students to serve others at school and in the larger world."
St. Joseph’s Academy is a private, Catholic high school for girls in St. Louis, Missouri, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Our mission is to provide quality Catholic education for young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for self and others. Our community expects these young women to make a profound impact in the world.
