Program Highlights

Global learning
The Global Learning program was created to empower women to become global leaders with strong values necessary in the realities of today’s society. This program offers a more globally-focused curriculum and provides outside learning opportunities that empower global citizenship. Our students are provided with meaningful service opportunities and the chance to foster mentorships with students, alumnae, and professionals.

Robotics
JoeBotics, St. Joseph’s Academy’s robotics program, was established during the 2013-2014 school year. JoeBotics has competed at the FIRST Technical Challenge level for 9 years running. Each year FTC presents a new game for the season, and the team works together to design, build, program, and test a robot to meet the challenges of the game. Due to popularity, the program expanded to include a second team during the 2021-2022 school year.

visual arts
The arts remain an integral part of our students’ learning, encouraging them to think critically and take risks. In 2020, our Visual Arts program expanded and was relocated to a dedicated space on the second floor. Three classrooms were designed specifically for the unique requirements of painting, drawing, ceramics, and more. At St. Joseph’s Academy, it is our desire to not only develop fine artists, but also to enhance an appreciation of the arts in all students.

Student
"St. Joe left a lasting impact on me. My involvement in Campus Ministry led me to many unique opportunities that I will remember forever and also helped me come out of high school with an even closer connection with God. I am thankful for the one-of-a-kind environment that fosters and encourages a strong faith life.”

Alumnae
"My time at SJA taught me the true meaning of “Not I, but We,” and that motto continues to shape who I am—both personally and professionally. Coming from a small Catholic grade school, I was one of only two girls from my class to attend St. Joe. From the moment I arrived, I understood that I was not alone—I was part of the We. Now, as an educator preparing future nurses to enter a complex and often unpredictable healthcare environment, my greatest hope is that they leave my classroom knowing they are part of a larger We. We care for our patients, we care for one another, and we care for ourselves—not only because we are nurses, but because we are human beings. The spirit of “Not I, but We” is not just a motto—it is a way of living and serving that I carry forward every day."

Parent
"St. Joe has proven to be the place for my daughters to transition from young girls to young ladies that are prepared for the next level of education, life, and spirituality. "Not I, but We" is shown everyday and in every interaction at the school by teachers, staff, and students, which has been an invaluable tool to boost self-esteem and confidence in my daughters to spread their wings and learn to fly!"
