The SJA Alumnae Association works to foster a closer relationship between alumnae and St. Joseph’s Academy, to find ways to assist the school in maintaining and improving its standards of excellence and to offer events and activities that will engage alumnae.
The purpose of the SJA Alumnae Council is to advance the well-being of St. Joseph’s Academy by engaging all alumnae in the life of the school through communication, programming and volunteer opportunities. The Council is advisory in nature and meets four times a year. The structure includes a total of 14 SJA alumnae - two alumnae from each decade beginning with 1950s – 2010s. The Council works through the class representatives and committees to develop alumnae programming.
The goal of the class rep program at St. Joseph’s Academy is to provide consistent communication between classmates and the Alumnae Office in order to maintain a connection with the school, promote the mission and inspire greater levels of class participation in alumnae activities and annual fundraising.
It is the intent of the Alumnae Association that committees will be formed to ensure leadership for all events and programming. Committees include, but are not limited to: 1940s, 1950s and 1960s Committee, Angel Fest Committee, Holiday Boutique Night Committee, Distinguished Alumnae Award Committee, Educational Connections Committee and Young Alumnae Committee.
Alumnae volunteers are often needed to help at various alumnae events. Please contact the Alumnae Office
